Christina Coons has a diverse work experience in various healthcare-related roles. Christina started their career at Family Service Society of Yonkers as the Director of Patient Services. Christina then worked as a Clinical Consultant at Honeywell HomMed and later joined Tunstall Healthcare as the Sr. Director of Solutions Management. After that, they became a Member of the Board at RAIN | Regional Aid for Interim Needs and also served as a Board Committee Chairperson at R.A.I.N. Inc. In 2006, they joined Visiting Nurse Service of New York as the Regional Clinical Director and held that role until 2016, overseeing diverse home healthcare services. Christina also worked as a Healthcare Consultant at RFR Consulting Group and as a Clinical Consultant and Regional Director at UnitedHealthcare. Currently, they are the Board President at End of Life Choices New York and also holds leadership roles at CMSA (Case Management Society of America).
Christina Coons has a solid education history. Christina attended the Duke University School of Nursing in 2014, where they completed the Population Care Coordinator Program with a focus on Population Health. Prior to that, in the years 1998-2000, they pursued their studies in Public Health, earning credits towards an MPH degree at New York Medical College. In the years 1993-1995, they attended Pace University-Pleasantville/Briarcliff Campus, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Christina also holds a certification as a Population Care Coordinator from Duke University.
