Luis Rainho

Luis Rainho is an experienced economist specializing in anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism, currently serving as a member of the Portugal delegation to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and as an economist at the Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários (CMVM). With a comprehensive background in financial services supervision, risk management, and corporate consulting, Luis has held notable positions, including consultant to the Public Prosecutor's Office and internal auditor at Caixa Geral de Depósitos. Additionally, Luis has academic experience as a professor at Nova School of Business and Economics and has contributed as a grader in various programs at The Lisbon MBA. Educational qualifications include an MBA from The Lisbon MBA, MSc in Finance from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and MSc in Corporate Finance from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, among others.
