Steve Preston

Steve Preston is an experienced professional in the machining and engineering fields, currently serving as an Application Engineer at CMZ since June 2019, where responsibilities include installation, commissioning, training, and service. From March 2014 to the present, Steve has also worked as a Computer Numerical Control Programmer at FOCUS LABEL MACHINERY LIMITED, specializing in programming CNC lathes and performing maintenance and repairs. Prior experience includes a role as a CNC Machinist at NSK from December 2010 to December 2014, a period of self-employment focused on home maintenance, and positions at KEAN CONSTRUCTION LIMITED as a skilled labourer and JACKSONS BUILDING CENTRE as a decorating manager. Steve completed a four-year apprenticeship at Worthington Simpson, further enhancing expertise in CNC operations. Education was obtained at Lincoln College between 1988 and 1992.
