Christopher Eager

Christopher Eager is a Data Science Director at CNA Insurance since August 2017, where responsibilities include developing statistical software and utilizing statistical modeling to guide product pricing, enhance operational efficiency, and assess risk. Eager also serves on the executive board for the Pride@CNA employee resource group, coordinating responses for the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index survey. Prior to this role, Christopher held various positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2011 to May 2017, including Graduate Student, Research Assistant, Instructor for a Spanish phonetics course, and Teaching Assistant for Spanish grammar courses. Eager holds a Ph.D. in Spanish Linguistics, a Master’s Degree in Statistics, a Certificate in Translation Studies, and an additional Master’s Degree in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics from UC San Diego.
