Alex Crippen

Alex Crippen is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience at CNBC since 1990, serving as Senior Coordinating Producer, where notable contributions include writing CNBC’s Buffett Watch newsletter and editing the Warren Buffett Archive website. Crippen has also played a pivotal role in originating CNBC’s Breaking News Desk and served as Executive Producer for the program “Closing Bell.” Prior to CNBC, Crippen worked at WVIT from 1984 to 1990 in various capacities, including Producer, Assignment Editor, and Supervising Producer, focusing on special projects and the 6pm newscast. Alex Crippen holds a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University, earned between 1978 and 1982.
