Andy Schaeffer

Andy Schaeffer has extensive experience in the television industry, beginning with KYCU-TV as Production Staff and News Photographer from 1977 to 1978. Schaeffer then served as a News Photographer at KRDO-TV from 1979 to 1980, where involvement with the station's innovative live truck and cameras marked a significant achievement. From 1980 to 1989, Schaeffer worked at KMGH-TV in various roles including Promotion Photographer, Editor, and News Photographer, ultimately becoming co-chief photographer and contributing to the "LPS" segment. Since 1989, Schaeffer has been with 9NEWS, taking on responsibilities as Promotion Photographer, Producer, Editor, and Graphics specialist. Additionally, Schaeffer was a Promo Photog/Producer at KUSA-TV. Andy Schaeffer holds a degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned between 1971 and 1976.
