Annette Weisbach is a seasoned journalist and business analyst with extensive experience in financial reporting and media. Since July 2013, Weisbach has served as the Correspondent for Germany at CNBC. Prior to this role, Weisbach hosted the "Investment Briefing" podcast at The Pioneer from September 2021 to December 2022, and worked as a Banking Reporter at Bloomberg from March 2012 to June 2013. Earlier career highlights include freelance TV reporting for CNBC and DW-TV, reporting and anchoring for Bloomberg, and roles in financial analysis and modeling at Macquarie Group and Freo Financial and Real Estate Operations. Weisbach began her career at Deutsche Bank as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Economist. Weisbach holds Master’s degrees in Economics and Political Science from Goethe University Frankfurt, earned between 1997 and 2002.
