David Keller, CMT, serves as the President and Chief Strategist at Sierra Alpha Research LLC, a role held since September 2017, focused on empowering investors through behavioral investing concepts. Keller is also a CNBC Contributor as of January 2024 and previously held the position of Chief Market Strategist at StockCharts.com from October 2018 to September 2024, where contributions included being a featured expert on StockCharts.com and StockCharts TV. Prior experience includes managing Fidelity Investments' largest buyside technical analysis team from August 2008 to December 2016 and serving as an Adjunct Professor at Brandeis University, teaching courses on Technical Analysis and Behavioral Finance from September 2011 to May 2015. Earlier in the career, Keller worked at Bloomberg LP as a Technical Analysis Application Specialist from June 2000 to July 2008, providing support to institutional investors across the Americas. Keller holds a BA and BS in Music and Psychology from The Ohio State University, earned between 1994 and 2000.
