Fred Omar Imbert

Fred Omar Imbert is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in financial and sports reporting. Since December 2014, Fred has held multiple roles at CNBC, including CNBC Pro Editor, News Editor, Markets Reporter, and News Associate. Prior to CNBC, Fred worked as a Business/Economic Consultant at Advantage Business Consulting, Inc. from November 2013 to July 2014 and gained experience as a Sports Reporter and Assistant Editor at The NewsHouse from February 2011 to May 2013. Additionally, Fred completed a Breaking News Internship at the Central New York Business Journal in late 2012. Fred holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Newspaper and Online Journalism and Political Science from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Maxwell School, respectively, and is a graduate of Academia del Perpetuo Socorro.
