Jon Fortt

Jon Fortt is a seasoned journalist and media executive with a robust career in business and technology reporting. Currently serving as Co-Anchor for Closing Bell Overtime on CNBC since July 2010, Jon also hosts and produces the interview series Fortt Knox, which features insights from influential business leaders. In addition to roles at CNBC, Jon is a member of the Board of Trustees at DePauw University and holds board positions with the National Summer Learning Association and Sibley Memorial Hospital. As the founder of Fortt Media, Jon has authored and published educational content addressing the Black experience in America. Jon's prior experience includes senior positions at Fortune, Time Inc., and the San Jose Mercury News, where Jon focused on technology, finance, and the real estate sectors. Jon earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from DePauw University.
