Melissa Repko is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in retail, technology, and local news coverage. Currently serving as a Retail Reporter at CNBC since February 2020, Melissa covers a diverse array of retailers including grocers and department stores. Prior to this role, Melissa spent nearly a decade at The Dallas Morning News, holding positions as a Tech and Entrepreneurship Reporter and Staff Writer for Local News, where responsibilities included reporting on local government and crime, as well as developing sources and multimedia content. Earlier experience includes an internship at ABC News with the Brian Ross Investigative Unit and various reporting roles at Columbia Daily Spectator, The Oregonian, and The Buffalo News. Melissa holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science from both Barnard College and Columbia University.
