Michael Awad is a skilled camera operator and editor with extensive experience in the field of broadcast journalism. Starting as a cameraman/editor at Video Cairo Sat from July 2007 to September 2009, Michael continued to develop expertise working with ORF Austrian TV from September 2009 to April 2012. Michael further honed his skills as a roving ENG cameraman and video editor at Sky News Arabia from May 2012 to July 2018. Since August 2018, Michael has been employed as a camera operator at CNBC. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in photography, cinema, and TV from Helwan University Cairo, obtained in 2007.
