Neil Kane serves as the Director of the ESTEEM Curriculum and Capstone Advising and Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Notre Dame since July 2021, focusing on integrating entrepreneurship with academic rigor in the ESTEEM Graduate Program. With a substantial entrepreneurial background, Neil co-founded and led Advanced Diamond Technologies as CEO and holds advisory roles in innovative firms like NeuroLux and Wearifi, Inc. Neil's consulting firm, Illinois Partners, LLC, provides strategic management and interim executive services in technology commercialization and startup formation. Additionally, Neil is recognized as a member of the CNBC Disruptor 50 Advisory Council and advises the U.S. Economic Development Administration on innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance and Policy Studies from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Neil is also involved in mentoring through various organizations, including The Founder Institute and The Mentor Project.
