Qian Chen

Qian Chen is a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Valley101.Inc, where the focus is on capturing tech stories from Silicon Valley through award-winning podcasts, explainer videos, and documentaries. As a financial reporter and moderator for CNBC since 2019, Qian contributes articles and hosts East Tech West sessions in Davos and Asia. Prior experience includes a bilingual role at CNBC Asia, where Qian hosted a financial segment reaching over 100 million viewers, and various reporting positions at Wall Street Multimedia, Phoenix TV, and other media organizations. Qian holds a Master's degree in Data Journalism from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University, with additional studies at institutions such as City University of Hong Kong and New York University.
