Steve Kovach is a seasoned technology journalist with extensive experience in reporting and editorial leadership. Currently serving as a Technology Correspondent at CNBC since July 2018, Steve covers major tech companies and gaming news. Prior to CNBC, Steve worked at Business Insider from October 2010 to July 2018 in various roles, including Senior Correspondent, Deputy Editor, and Senior Editor, where notable achievements included launching and establishing Tech Insider as a leading brand in social media. Additional roles in Steve's career include serving as a Board Member for The Daily Orange, developing digital strategies for the newspaper, and working as a Social Media Specialist at Behrman Communications. Early experiences include positions as a Production Assistant at ESPN and various editorial roles at The Daily Orange and the Houston Chronicle, alongside a dual degree in Journalism and English from Syracuse University.
