Tara Matthews is an experienced lead creative writer and producer with a robust background in media and communications. Currently at CNBC since August 2018, Tara drives creative assets for various DEI initiatives and notable campaigns such as "The Profit," "Cash Pad," and "Deal or No Deal," in collaboration with on-air talent and marketing teams. Prior to CNBC, Tara held senior positions at Discovery Inc. and BBC America, where strategic and engaging marketing campaigns were developed for popular shows. Tara also directed communications for CMMB, an international humanitarian non-profit, and has a consistent history of delivering compelling creative work across multiple media platforms. Tara holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University.
