Fredy Vides

Fredy Vides is a mathematical engineer currently serving as an Associate Professor of Mathematical Engineering at the National Autonomous University of Honduras, where they conduct research in structure-preserving function approximation theory and its applications in data-driven modeling and predictive analytics. They also lead as the chief data scientist at CNBS Honduras, focusing on financial systems and processes. Fredy founded and directs the Scientific Computing Innovation Center at UNAH and has previously worked as a lecturer and research assistant. They hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the University of New Mexico, awarded with distinction.
