Andy Pilato

As CIO, Andrew “Andy” Pilato oversees technical and strategic aspects including the creation of CNF’s Independent Research and Development program, the identification and assessment of emerging technologies affecting client mission success, and expanding CNF’s commercial business.

Andy joined CNF in 2008 as Principal Engineer and was quickly promoted to Director of Engineering. Here he managed teams of cybersecurity professionals and engineers in the development, prototyping, integration, and testing for numerous software and hardware versions of globally deployed cyber solutions. Andy has also led the efforts involved in obtaining Air Force Net worthiness, Operational and Developmental Testing, and ultimately Air Force Operational Acceptance for an enterprise-level defense system. As a senior expert, Andy’s extensive career encompassed both commercial and government sectors including NASA, NSA, DoD, VA, financial institutions, and numerous avionics manufacturers.
