Originally formed in 2007 to serve as the sole North American marketing and distribution company of the world-renowned Combier Distillery in Saumur, France, CNI Brands has since evolved into a leading owner and incubator of premium qualify craft spirit and cider brands, including BANHEZ Mezcal, LIBÉLULA Tequila, AVAL Cider, and COMBIER Liqueurs. 
The company is majority owned and controlled by three brothers, Ryan, Curt and Scott Goldman.
