Alberto Moya

Alberto Moya is the Regional Newsgathering Director at CNN, bringing over two decades of experience in journalism. Moya has covered significant events such as the 9/11 attacks and the Boston Marathon bombing, and has held various roles at CBS News, including Producer and Assignment Desk Producer. Moya began their career with a BA in Communication Studies and International Studies from Macalester College, after studying Communication Studies at Universidad de Costa Rica. Their passion for storytelling drives their work, thriving under deadline pressure while focusing on impactful narratives.
