Ben Pershing

Ben Pershing is the Supervising Editor at CNN, focusing on enterprise stories in the Washington Bureau. Previously, they served as the Politics Editor at The Wall Street Journal from 2019 to 2024, overseeing extensive political coverage, including the White House and multiple election cycles. Before that, Ben held positions at National Journal, where they managed editorial operations and congressional coverage, and at The Washington Post, where they reported on Congress and local elections. Ben completed their undergraduate degree in Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley, and participated in a one-year study abroad program at Queen Mary, University of London.
