Catherine Straight

Catherine Straight is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in digital journalism, currently serving as Vice President of Consumer Content for CNN Digital Products and Services since November 2010. Straight has held multiple leadership roles at CNN, including Vice President of Features and Opinion, Managing Editor, and Senior Editor for Content. Prior to joining CNN, Straight was the Senior Assignment Editor at USA Today and managed editorial operations at the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Straight's career began at The Tennessean, where various positions included Deputy Managing Editor and Features Editor. Catherine Straight earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from The University of Southern Mississippi between 1981 and 1985.
