Danny Freeman

Danny Freeman is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in television news. Currently serving as a correspondent for CNN since February 2023, Freeman previously worked as an investigative reporter for NBC Philadelphia and a political reporter and host at NBC 7 San Diego. With a background that includes reporting live on significant events such as the 2017 Las Vegas shooting and the Sonoma Fires, Freeman has contributed to multiple Emmy and Edward R. Murrow award-winning broadcasts. Additional roles at NBC News involved covering the 2016 presidential campaign and working as a desk assistant. Freeman's early career includes positions as a political journalist for Colombia Reports and various leadership roles at Dartmouth College, where a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government was obtained, graduating Cum Laude.
