Dave Alsup

Dave Alsup is a Supervising Producer at CNN's National News Hub, where they have been since 2005, overseeing the planning and execution of coverage on a wide range of news topics. Previously, they served as an Assignment Manager and Assignment Editor at KING 5 Media Group from 1999 to 2005, enhancing news strategies and content delivery. Prior to that, they held the role of Assignment Manager at KOMO TV for a year, improving audience ratings through innovative coverage. Alsup began their career in news at Channel 13 KTRK TV from 1987 to 1990, gaining valuable editorial experience. They are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Mississippi and have a Bachelor's degree in History and Communications from the University of North Alabama.
