David Culver

David Culver is a Senior National Correspondent for CNN Worldwide, recognized for award-winning storytelling that has shaped CNN’s global coverage. They have recently reported on significant issues including the US-Mexico border migration crisis, civil unrest in Haiti, and gang violence in Ecuador, while also producing hour-long specials on topics such as psychedelics and the Running of the Bulls. Previously based in Beijing, Culver covered critical events surrounding the coronavirus and its containment measures, earning prestigious accolades like the Walter Cronkite Award and the George Polk Award for their impactful reporting. Before joining CNN, Culver worked at NBC Washington and WAVY-TV, focusing on national news and significant events. They are currently pursuing a B.A. in Hispanic Studies at William & Mary.
