Douglas Hyde

Douglas Hyde is a seasoned writer and producer with extensive experience in both broadcast and digital media. Currently at CNN since August 2016, Hyde crafts VO's, package tosses, and feature pieces for international programs such as "Newsroom" and "Quest Means Business." Prior roles include serving as a Digital News Producer at KCBS/KCAL, where content was created for the CBSLA website, and contributing to the NFL Network by writing and producing promotional content for various shows. Previously, Hyde held multiple positions at CNN from 1996 to 2015, producing entertainment pieces and overseeing content for the international market. Earlier career experiences include research and writing for political programs and editorial assistance. Hyde holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Film Studies from Boston College.
