Eleni Giokos

Eleni Giokos is an experienced journalist and television correspondent with a career spanning over a decade in various prominent media roles. As a Correspondent at CNN since September 2015, Giokos covers major news stories while previously serving as a Senior Anchor at Bloomberg TV Africa, where the individual hosted "African Business Weekly." Prior to that, Giokos worked as a News and Business Anchor at eNews Channel Africa and held several positions, including Anchor at CNBC Africa, where notable programs like "Closing Bell Africa" and "On The Couch" were presented. Eleni Giokos began the career as a News Anchor at YFM and further honed skills in media as Head of Media Training at ABN Training Institute. Academic credentials include a Journalism Honours degree in Financial Journalism from WITS, obtained between 2011 and 2013.
