Em Steck has a diverse background in journalism and media, currently serving as a Writer/Reporter and previously as a News Associate/Field Producer at CNN since September 2018. Prior experience includes roles as a Multimedia Reporter while self-employed, Politics and Justice Reporter at Medill News Service, and Perspectives Intern at Vox Media, Inc. Em's career began with a focus on content marketing as a Content Marketing Specialist at Quietly and as a Development Intern at Brown Films/Specific Films. Em Steck holds a Bachelor's degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Temple University and a Master's degree in Journalism from Northwestern University, with additional studies in London through the Foundation for International Education.
