Eric Sherling

Eric Sherling is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in broadcasting and programming, currently serving as the Executive Vice President of U.S. Programming at CNN since November 2011. Previously, Sherling held several key positions at CNN, including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Washington Programming, and has a strong background as Executive Broadcast Producer at ABC News’ Good Morning America. With early career roles as a producer at WFLA and WTVQ, Sherling also boasts significant experience from December 2000 to November 2009 at CNN, where responsibilities included Executive Producer of The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer. Academically, Sherling earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Ithaca College.
