Ericka Abram has extensive experience in archival research, public relations, and community engagement within various organizations. Currently serving as a Newsource Archivist at CNN since January 2015, Ericka is responsible for researching and distributing news video and sound content to affiliates worldwide. Previous positions include roles at the Georgia Aquarium, where Ericka engaged with guests, and at the Hattie Larlham Center, where Ericka managed an art studio for young artists and developed marketing strategies that secured funding. Additional experience includes volunteer work at ACCESS, board membership at McClain Gallery of Akron, and curatorial roles at the Summit County Regional Arts & Culture Board and Tubman African American Museum, where Ericka significantly increased visitor traffic and support through effective marketing initiatives. Ericka Abram holds a BA in English Language and Literature from Spelman College.
