Francesca Street

Francesca Street is a seasoned digital producer at CNN since July 2016, specializing in writing articles for the Travel section of CNN.com. Previous experience includes roles as an associate digital producer and digital features intern at various online and print publications from February 2016 to 2022, along with freelance writing in travel and lifestyle for outlets such as The Herald and The Independent. Francesca contributed a chapter to the 2021 essay collection "Overtourism: Lessons for a Better Future." Additional roles include freelance theatre critic for Broadway Baby and writing contributions for Culturefly, where Francesca served as a contributing writer. Francesca's internship experiences comprise positions at The Sunday Times Style Magazine and The Independent, as well as work as a features editor at Retrospect Journal and press coordinator at the Edinburgh Student Arts Festival. Francesca holds an MA (Hons.) in English Literature from The University of Edinburgh and completed A Levels at Sir Roger Manwood's School.
