Gertrude Kitongo is an experienced multimedia producer and associate producer with a strong background in journalism and business consultancy. Currently serving as a Multimedia Producer at the African Development Bank Group since December 2024, Gertrude has held positions at CNN and BBC World Service, where responsibilities included producing programs, research, and enhancing viewer engagement. Gertrude's prior roles as a business consultant and market strategist involved designing monitoring and evaluation systems, developing strategies to improve narratives in African media, and conducting market research. With a Master’s degree in Development Studies from SOAS and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from CIDA City Campus, Gertrude combines academic knowledge with extensive professional expertise in media and development.
