Heather Platt

Heather Platt is an accomplished food writer and journalist with extensive experience in covering the culinary scene in Los Angeles. Since January 2018, Platt has been contributing as a freelance writer for the Los Angeles Times and as a contributing writer for CNN. Platt's previous roles include freelance writing for Los Angeles Magazine, where coverage included restaurant openings and a weekly recipe column titled "Dish Hack," and contributing to LA Weekly's Food and Drink section. Other freelance engagements span various media outlets, including Resy, Vegetarian Times, and Eater. Heather Platt holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from New York University and has also participated in programs at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies and New York University in Paris.
