James O'Donnell

James O'Donnell is a Senior Producer at CNN Weather & Climate, where they produce and direct live video coverage during extreme weather events. They previously worked as a Digital Studio Producer and Director at The Weather Company, managing studio productions and creating multimedia content for the Weather Channel. O'Donnell has extensive experience in news production, having served as Director and Senior Director at WTOC-TV, where they won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Newscast Director. They began their career as a Freelance Camera Operator at ESPN and hold a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Communication from Georgia Southern University.
