Jim Maxwell

Jim Maxwell is the President of SPAD Associates and has extensive experience in the security sector. Currently serving as an Associate with Buckley Petersen Global since January 2015, Jim specializes as an Active Shooter Instructor and conducts threat assessments for a range of clients. Additionally, Jim contributes occasionally to CNN and works as an Independent Consultant for various security and law enforcement groups, providing investigative and instructional services. Previous roles include Project Specialist at R4 Incorporated, VP of Security at Credit Suisse, and a long tenure as a Special Agent and Bomb Technician with the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 1975 to 2006. Jim holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice/Police Science from John Jay College (CUNY).
