John R. is an experienced data engineer and architect with a strong background in developing data warehouse structures and visual dashboards, currently serving as a Principal Data Engineer at CNN since May 2019. Previously, John held significant roles at Digital Tractor and Cartoon Network, where contributions included the development of Boomerang OTT and data structures for subscription audience reporting. Prior experience also includes leadership roles at Warner Bros. Entertainment, focused on business intelligence and adopting tools such as Looker across WarnerMedia. John began a career in software engineering at SnapOne, Inc. and Aegis Communications Group, developing websites, APIs, and reporting systems. Education includes a B.A. in Telecommunications from Temple University.
