Kara Fox is a Senior Reporter at CNN International, having joined the organization in 2016 and covering a range of topics including conflict, climate, corruption, and Covid. In the 2023-24 academic year, Kara was a Ted Scripps Fellow in Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado Boulder, where the focus was on climate change's impacts on women and girls, as well as deep sea mining. Prior to the current role, Kara served as a Supervising Producer at CNN, leading global digital news coverage during the early months of the Russia-Ukraine war, which contributed to an Emmy win. Additionally, Kara has experience as a Digital Producer, Photographer, and Journalist across various media outlets and educational backgrounds in journalism and South Asian studies from Goldsmiths, University of London, and New York University.
