Katelyn Polantz is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in covering justice and crime as a correspondent at CNN since October 2017. Prior to this role, Katelyn worked as a Business of Law Reporter and Data Editor for ALM Media, LLC, contributing to the National Law Journal and American Lawyer Magazine from January 2014 to October 2017. Katelyn's career also includes positions as a reporter/producer at PBS NewsHour from April 2012 to January 2014, and a reporter at The Roanoke Times from September 2009 to April 2012. Katelyn began the journey in journalism as the editor in chief at The Pitt News from April 2008 to April 2009. Katelyn holds a B.A. in English Literature and Communication/Rhetoric from the University of Pittsburgh, obtained between 2006 and 2009.
