Katy Rogers

Katy Rogers is an experienced producer currently employed at NewsNation since April 2023. Previously, Katy held multiple producer roles at CNN, including work on "Across America with Carol Costello" and "HLN Morning Express," and contributed as a senior producer for significant trials on HLN, such as those of Jodi Arias and Casey Anthony. Prior to her time at CNN, Katy produced content for The Weather Channel and worked as a producer for CNN/HLN from 2009 to 2014, where responsibilities included pitching, scripting, and producing stories. Earlier in Katy's career, a role as a video editor for CNN/Sports Illustrated involved editing sports highlights for broadcast. Katy holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Virginia Tech.
