Kevin Long

Kevin Long is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in mobile engineering and software development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Mobile at CNN, Kevin previously held key positions at Amazon, ZipRecruiter, Griddy, Ticketmaster, and several other organizations, where responsibilities included leading engineering teams, implementing CI/CD processes, and enhancing software quality through automation and testing strategies. Kevin possesses a strong background in building mobile applications, recruiting and developing engineering talent, and improving development processes, which have contributed to significant improvements in product quality and release cycles. Kevin's career began with a solid foundation in software architecture at Perceptive Software and entrepreneurship as the founder of Island Labs. Kevin holds a degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
