Louis Leeson

Louis Leeson is a seasoned video producer and photojournalist with extensive experience in digital media. Currently serving as a Video Producer for CNN International Digital Video since August 2021, Louis leads a team in producing impactful content from the London bureau. Prior to this role, Louis worked as a Video Journalist for The Independent and contributed to the Guardian's Multimedia Investigations Desk, particularly on projects like the award-winning #EndFGM campaign. Louis has also produced content for Save the Children UK and War Child UK, documenting critical humanitarian issues. In addition to practical experience, Louis has shared expertise as a part-time lecturer in videography and documentary filmmaking at MediaSchool London. Louis holds a First from the London College of Communication in Photojournalism and is represented by the Eyevine Photo Agency. Published works include contributions to notable publications such as Time, the Guardian, and the Sunday Times.
