Lydia Armstrong

Lydia Armstrong is a Digital Producer at CNN since September 2021, previously serving as a News Programming Intern at the same company. Prior experience includes roles as a Contributing Writer for Quench Magazine and as an Editor/Multimedia Journalist for InterCardiff. Lydia has an extensive background in editorial work, having completed an internship at Archant, and has experience in teaching and sales as an assistant at Harts Barn Cookery School. Additionally, Lydia was involved as a Modern Foreign Languages Mentor for a Cardiff University partner secondary school and worked as a Vendor Manager at Acolad Group. Beginning a career in hospitality, Lydia was a waitress at The Yew Tree. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in International Journalism and a Bachelor's degree in French and Italian, both from Cardiff University, as well as participation in the Erasmus Programme at Università di Pavia.
