Margaret Given

Margaret Given is an experienced editorial producer at CNN, a role held since July 2018. Previously, Given worked as a communications associate at the R Street Institute for six months in 2018 and held multiple positions at MediaDC in Washington, DC, from July 2015 to December 2017, including Capitol Hill liaison and public relations associate. Early career experience includes a marketing internship at WorldStrides, where a project focused on analyzing sales lead response times, an internship at the University of Virginia Center for Politics, and a head lifeguard position at Boar's Head Inn. Given also has experience as a photography intern with Scrimmage Play, LLC, and as a professional ski instructor at Wintergreen Resort. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Affairs with a concentration in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Virginia, education was completed from 2012 to 2015 after initial studies at the University of Mississippi.
