Marika Gerken

Marika Gerken is a skilled producer with extensive experience in digital video at CNN since July 2019, currently serving as Producer for CNN Digital Video, where responsibilities include editing and programming news videos for digital platforms and analyzing performance metrics. Previously, Gerken held the position of Associate Producer for both CNN Digital Video and CNN+, contributing to the daily news show "5 Things with Kate Bolduan" and overseeing video elements while developing original pilot content. With additional experience as a Coordinator at CNN Digital and in corporate communications at HBO, Gerken’s background includes a solid foundation in talent operations at Thumbtack and an educational background from the University of Washington.
