Max Borland

Head Of Content Analytics

Max Borland serves as the Head of Content Analytics at CNN since October 2021, where responsibilities include building and leading a content-analytics team to support CNN's direct-to-consumer streaming platform and overseeing video product and digital subscription analytics. Prior to this role, Max worked at Major League Baseball from August 2014 to October 2021 in various positions including Manager of Strategy and Development, where research focused on enhancing the live baseball experience and digital engagement, as well as roles in analytics that informed audience growth strategies. Earlier experience includes positions at GroupM as a Research Analyst and Analyst, and a freelance role at Living Breathing that involved behavioral analysis of affluent consumers. Max holds an Ed.M in Statistics from Teachers College, Columbia University and a B.A. in English from Binghamton University.
