McKenna Ewen is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in digital media production and storytelling. Currently serving as a Producer II at CNN since 2017, McKenna leads editorial strategy and coordination for digital video during breaking news events, ensuring timely, engaging content for social platforms. Prior experience includes crafting long-form stories at CNN, working as a Video Journalist at The Washington Post, and transforming digital strategies at the Star Tribune. McKenna also has experience in academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Minnesota, where a visual storytelling course was designed and taught. McKenna's educational background includes a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Minnesota, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
