Melissa Gray

Melissa Gray is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in digital and radio news reporting. Since October 2007, Melissa has served as a Senior Editor and assignment editor for national news at CNN Digital, also contributing as a digital news editor and freelance reporter. Prior contributions to CNN include London-based reporting and writing for CNN's newswire service. From January 2011 to September 2019, Melissa worked as a freelance editor, reporter, and anchor for CNN Radio, conducting interviews and occasionally anchoring newscasts. Before joining CNN, Melissa was a radio reporter for the Associated Press, covering Europe and the Middle East, and reported on the London bid for the 2012 Olympics with Around the Rings. Melissa holds a BA in Classical Studies and Theatre from Colgate University, earned from 1992 to 1996.
