Melody Taylor

Melody Taylor is an accomplished media professional with over two decades of experience in journalism and programming. Currently serving as the Director of Programming at CNN since July 2012, Melody is pivotal in transforming newsroom operations through advanced technology and optimized workflows. Prior to this role, Melody held significant positions at HLN, including Editorial Leader for Morning Express and Executive Producer for both Morning and Weekend Express. Melody's earlier experience includes impactful roles at KHOU-TV and WCNC NBC 6, where notable achievements included orchestrating record ratings growth and developing extensive training programs for producers. Melody holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
