Michael Callahan

Michael Callahan is the Senior Director of National Security & Justice at CNN, a position held since September 2016, where oversight of the Washington bureau's coverage involves leading a team to deliver insightful reporting on national security matters. Previously, Callahan served as Supervising Producer for National Security at CNN, managing coverage of critical areas including the Pentagon and State Department. Prior experience also includes roles as Senior Washington Producer and Producer at Bloomberg LP, focusing on the economic implications of Washington stories for viewers, and various production roles at ABC News from May 2002 to July 2010. Callahan holds a B.A. from The Catholic University of America.
