Mostafa Salem

Mostafa Salem is a Senior Reporter for CNN in the Middle East, having taken on this role in 2021. Prior to joining CNN, Mostafa served as a Senior Producer at Reuters, where they led coverage of significant events such as the Iraq youth protests and the UN COP25 Climate Conference from 2019 to 2020. Mostafa also worked as a Writer/Reporter for The Daily News Egypt from 2013 to 2014, focusing on political issues and current affairs. They gained foundational knowledge with a degree from Cairo University, which they completed in 2012.
